Watercolor Workshop on Midcoast Maine

Midcoast Maine with its rolling landscape, sparkling water and granite shores has drawn artists for centuries. We’ve teamed up with local painter and watercolor teacher, Catinka Knoth, to help you see this inspiring spot of nature through the eyes of an artist. Limited to only 6 participants and designed for beginners and “advanced beginners”, Le Vatout’s Watercolor Workshop combines plein air and studio instruction, a boat trip to Monhegan Island - home of dozens of artist studios and some of the most spectacular scenery this side of the Atlantic - plus a personal tour of the Farnsworth Museum, galleries and lighthouses, romantic gardens and food, fabulous food; in short a great opportunity to explore Midcoast Maine and nourish your creative side!

We suggest you bring along a fanny pack for nature walks and other explorations, maybe a digital camera if you have it, plus painting supplies, of course. If you already have supplies you probably have everything you need. If not, click here for Catinka’s recommendations.
