Pastel Workshop - Pam's List of Supplies

  • French easel or portable easel of your choice

  • Field box for your pastels. Pam suggests: Heilman Designs

  • Back Board - ½ inch foam core is great.

  • Artist tape

  • Mat knife

  • Wipes or rags

  • A digital camera, if you have one

  • A soft cooler for your lunch and drinks

  • Bug spray and sunblock

  • Light colored or white clothing and a hat

  • Stout shoes - remember, it's Maine and the best views aren't always from the road. If you're at all concerned about your ability to keep up, please email Pam. She can accommodate everyone as long as she knows your needs ahead of time.

  • Pastels - bring what you have. If you are a beginner (or a confused pastelist), Pam suggests a landscape set from Terry Ludwig. It's a great investment. For a list of Pam's favorite pastels, please email her once you've registered. Some materials will also be available at the workshop.
  • If you need more information or if you would like to make a reservation for the workshop, please email Dominika or call Le Vatout at (207) 832-5150
